During your stay in Paros,you must walk around Parikia town which is the capital of the island, and you must visit the famous and unique church of “Ekatontapiliani”, the old market street,the ruins of the old castle, the ancient cemetery and museum close to the port.Parikia is surrounded by nice and well preserved beaches and offers also a nice variety of night life. Your second choice is Naoussa, one of the most picturesque villages in Paros, a fishing port that played an important part in all periods of the island’s history.

The excellent beaches, the monuments and churches is worth to visit.Lefkes the old capital of Paros ,was built in the 16th century with it’s own architectural style.

The church of “Agia Triada” is a real marble jewel of exceptional beauty.Prodromos one of the typical villages that was built in 17th century and is quite interesting to visit, and walk through the ancient roman road towards Lefkes, offers a unique experience. Marmara, Marpissa, Piso Livadi, Drios, Angeria and Alyki are also some of the island’s beautiful villages where one can enjoy the long sandy beaches or taste some of the local delicacies offered in the numerous traditional tavernas.Antiparos is a natural extension of the main island and it is separated from it by a narrow channel. Worth a visit mainly due to it’s long beaches and a wonderful cave with stalagmites and stalactites.

Visit the wine factory of “Enosi” in Parikia where you can try and enjoy high quality wines of Paros like Kavarnis and Ekatontapiliani. Visit the traditional pottery workshop in Lefkes and Kostos villages. Try the famous “xynomizithra” with “Dakos”(soft local cheese with a slightly sour taste on a type of a hard bread made of wheat,covered with olive oil,tomato regano and kaper). On the 1st Sunday of July, Naoussa hosts the fishermen festival, where you are welcome to taste lot’s of free wine and fish grilled on the spot and enjoy dancing and singing till morning. On the 15th August a big fiesta in Parikia welcomes you.

We celebrate the church Ekatontapiliani (Santa Maria), where in the night all fishing boats are in the port with special fireworks and after a lot of Greek dance by the road to the port. On the 23rd of August ,there is a big feast in Naoussa,in which it take place a represantationof the pirates assault that destroyed Naoussa during the times of the famous pirate Barbarossa.Boys and girls dressed in traditional costumes jump out from kaiques enter the crowd and snatch the girls and dancing around.
